Lewis-Palmer High School earns the National AP Honor Roll Award for the 4th year in a row! Lewis-Palmer School District is the only district in Colorado to receive this honor.
Congratulations to all LP teachers and staff.  Your hard work and dedication to excellence shines through in this award.

2013-2014 President Welcome
Hello Fellow Rangers!
I want to welcome you all to another great year of Ranger activities - the Booster Club is ramping up this year so look for new committees to join and new events to go to resulting in more spirit and more money for our member teams and their families!!! The first of the changes is welcoming a new Athletic Director, Nick Baker comes to us from within the Ranger school family and is full of new ideas and enthusiasm to boost up the Booster Club!
A BIT ABOUT ------->
We are currently  responsible for selling concessions at our home games, selling Spiritwear at games (and anywhere else we can), and returning the money we raise to the member groups. Last year we gave each of our 21 groups and the Athletic Trainer each $900. We have each team provide a Team Rep to communicate to each parent on the team, attend the meetings (2nd Monday of each month-everyone is welcome to attend), and coordinate the volunteers from his/her team to assure the team earns the money at the end of the year.
We use the program SignUp Genius to organize our volunteers. Your team rep will send you an invitation to join the group and you can get on to sign up for a shift any time during the year. We currently have all the sporting events on the site through the end of October - we will be adding other events to this like dances and Spiritwear sales during lunches. Keep checking on the site periodically to look for changes although we usually send an email when the site has been updated. If a team wants to all work together they can sign up for all the positions on a given date or each parent can work when it is convenient for them. THANK YOU to all our reps!!! They are the backbone of this group! Each of them needs the parent support of their group, please be sure to give them a pat on the back and help out where you can. From time to time they will be unable to make it to a meeting, we would love to have another parent step up, come to the meeting and report back to the rest of your group. Let your rep know if you could help in this way! Interested in being a rep? Get with your current rep and see how you can help!
A BIG THANKS  to you all as well!!! The officers and reps can plan, organize and schedule ourselves to death but without YOU we can't pull anything off!
We have estimated the amount of hours we need from each team to be about 70, roughly you can divide this number by the number of participants in your child's group and that is what we'd love to have you step up and help with. The hours can be achieved by working a game, a dance, lunch spiritwear sales, an event like Christmas tree recycling, making a run to Sam's to stock the concession stand, and so on. We understand that life is busy and we are trying to make it as easy and fun to participate as possible. We will take kiddo volunteers (16 and up) to work concessions and spiritwear and anyone able to lift packages of water, etc. to help with stocking the concessions stands - we just request that if kids sign up that a parent from that team also signs up to supervise (one parent for each 2 kids) so we are sure to follow all District and Health Dept. laws.
We are currently looking for a couple of new events to up our fundraising. Please let me or your team rep know if you have experience or desire to help plan a golf tournament, put together a Rangers' calendar or seasonal sports program, recruit (or be) a local business sponsor, or something else we may not even have thought of.
Keep an eye open for upcoming emails, we will be updating everyone on our progress and advertising our new events as they come up. Booster Club Update
Dear Ranger Boosters,
Thanks to you all for your support of Ranger activities this year! Our team reps have all put in much effort and deserve a standing ovation - thanks for your commitment and desire to help our student-athletes/band members/spirit groups!!!!
We had another successful year resulting in grants being given to each of our member groups in the amount of $900. This summer we will be working hard to clarify and streamline the communication, processes and requirements for reps, coaches and team parents.  Work will also be done to update and improve the website so keep your eyes open for these changes.
For the Fall we are looking for a 1-year term Secretary as well as a Co-Chair (Fall season) for concessions stocking. A brief job description for each:
Secretary: take minutes & attendance at meetings, help supervise football concessions (1-2 games), help other officers as needed
Concessions: Current procedure is that we have a chair who will keep inventory, enter a click-and-pull order with Sams' Club, and coordinate for teams to do pick-up. In the Fall we run the outside main concession stand, visitor concession stand, inside concession stand, and Hi-Tech space snack stand so we would like to have two people share the job as best fits their schedules.

Meeting Dates for 2013-2014
Booster Club meets the second Monday of the month in room 118 at 7:00 pm.  Dates for meetings for the 2013-2014are on the calendar on the right.  Team representatives should be present and parents are welcome to attend.

Check in the "Minutes" folder on the right for minutes to prior meetings and draft minutesof the prior meeting to be approved at each meeting.
